Reading helpdesk pricing honestly

Which prices does this calculator use?

Published list prices from each vendor's public pricing page, using per-seat rates at annual billing (the rate vendors advertise). Repliqo is shown at its monthly-billing price — its annual billing is about 17% cheaper — so the comparison never flatters us. No sales-negotiated discounts, promos, or add-ons are included.

Why is the same team size so much cheaper on some tools?

Two structural reasons. First, pricing model: flat per-seat pricing grows linearly, while base-plus-seat pricing (like Repliqo's) front-loads a small base fee and adds cheap incremental seats. Second, scope: suite products like Zendesk bundle chat, voice, and messaging channels that email-first teams often never use but always pay for.

What costs does the list price leave out?

Add-ons are where helpdesk bills grow: AI features priced per seat or per resolution, extra inboxes, knowledge-base sites, and higher tiers gated behind features like SLA rules or analytics. When comparing, price the tier that actually has the features you need, not the tier in the ad.

Are these tools feature-equivalent?

No, and this table doesn't claim they are. Zendesk Suite is a full omnichannel help desk; Front, Missive, Hiver, Help Scout, and Repliqo are shared-inbox products with different depths of automation, analytics, and channels. The table answers one question honestly: what does the list price come to for your team size.

See why the cheapest row is cheapest.

Repliqo's base-plus-seat pricing keeps a growing team's bill flat: $19/month covers your first seat, and each teammate after that is $8. Compare the whole product on a 14-day trial.
